Chris O'Neill, MAY 5, 2016 - American Chris O'Neill, the first foreign full-time salaried ninja in Japan, performs with his Japanese colleagues during an event at Nagoya Castle in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. O'Neill joins six Japanese ninjas hired by Aichi Prefecture to promote tourism in the region.
O'Neill said being a ninja was a lifelong dream. "My personal goal is to protect the weak, defend the innocent, and be a guardian for those who need a guardian," he said in response to a reporter's question.
O'Neill added that he was proud to perform alongside his six Japanese colleagues. "We're writing the next chapter of ninja history. We're the next generation of ninja." (Photo by Ben Weller/AFLO) (JAPAN) [UHU]
