Ben is based in Nagoya, the industrial hub of Japan, with easy access by car or train to Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo. He is a contributor to NipponNews.net and AFLO, one of the largest editorial and commercial picture agencies in Japan.

Ben first moved to Korea in 2002, and has covered political campaigns, labor protests, and social movements in Busan, Seoul, and Miryang.

Ben works on assignment for commercial and editorial clients covering energy, shipbuilding, manufacturing, and logistics projects throughout Japan and South Korea. With more than a decade of experience photographing major industrial projects, Ben creates dynamic documentary images while protecting the safety, operational, and privacy concerns of his clients.
