Dog meat market in South Korea on Boknal

Dogs are butchered for their meat in Busan, South Korea. August 13 is one of three "boknal", considered the hottest days of the year, a day when eating dog meat is considered by some to have a cooling effect on the body. Though the practice continues, many South Koreans are opposed to eating dog.
